Abbie founded Colorado Autism Consultants in 2011 and is the acting Executive Director. With over two decades of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities and promoting high quality, evidence-based strategies in underserved populations, she has dedicated her professional career to the cause. Abbie is driven to create a Colorado in which clients, families, schools, clinicians, and communities work together in partnerships to ensure positive and effective results for all individuals, and where barriers to accessing these results are eliminated. Her consultative experience spans multiple environments, including client homes, schools, day programs, hospitals, clinics, vocational environments, and communities. Abbie got her Bachelors from Drake University, her BCBA coursework through the University of St Cloud, and her Masters Degree from Regis University. Abbie’s other life passions include exploring new cultures and staying active with her husband and three rambunctious young boys.
Dana Stevens joined the CAC team after relocating from Spokane, WA where she served an integral role in building clinical excellence and expanding access to ABA services across Washington State. With nearly 30 years of extensive experience in both education and ABA, she has dedicated her entire professional career to expanding and supporting services for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Dana became a BCBA in 2003 and has since become a tenured track faculty member at Whitworth University where she taught undergraduate and graduate coursework in Special Education, has published multiple professional publications, and is a regular presenter at local, regional, national and international conferences. Her professional career has spanned diverse populations with a broad range of clinical diagnosis, and a wide range of ages, settings, and geographic locations, from urban centers to the most isolated school district in Alaska. She has provided training to bridge related service providers including educational organizations, law enforcement and first responders, medical and mental health providers, state agencies, employment agencies and many more. Through participation in state committees, workgroups, advisory boards, and federal grants, Dana strives to maximize impact and brings her years of experience to organizational development, clinical supervision, and legislative advocacy. Dana’s family consists of her loving husband, 3 amazing sons and her 200+ lbs dog. In her free time she likes to cook for the boys and experience Colorado living.
Adi is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with an extensive background in speech, language and communication. Originally from Israel, she graduated with a BA in Speech & Language disorders 2007 and a Master’s in Special Education with an emphasis on learning disabilities in 2011. Adi moved to Colorado in 2012, and has since worked in worked in the field of behavior analysis across center, home, and school environments. She strongly believes the best approach is for evidence-based practices to collaborate with all service providers to benefit the client’s needs. She values treatments that are engaging and fun, using varied approaches while promoting independence. In her free time, Adi enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and her friends.
Maggie lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico and has been with CAC since its beginning in 2011. She has been instrumental in navigating the changing landscape of funding streams in ABA, and now oversees a team that is dedicated to just that. Living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Maggie and is the mother of two busy kids. She's also a part-time photographer, and a volunteer activist for social justice issues. Maggie enjoys the opportunity to help connect families with the resources and support that they need.
Ethan spent the formative years of his life in Idaho, including obtaining his Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Idaho, which he earned in 2015. His career serving communities began in Moscow, Idaho, as a New Student Orientation leader and CNA at an assisted living community. He later moved to beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where he continued to work with vulnerable adults as a Targeted Service Coordinator and Care Coordinator. Ethan has an MS in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University with a focus on Applied Behavioral Analysis. He looks forward to bringing his knowledge, experience, and passion for helping others to Denver area communities. In his free time, Ethan enjoys hiking, live music, trying new coffee shops, board game nights, supporting his desperately affectionate one-eyed cat, and quality time with his friends and partner.
Jessica is from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She was born in Illinois but spent most of her childhood growing up in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She has been working in administrative and scheduling roles for most of her professional career and really enjoys it. Jessica has been scheduling in the ABA field since 2018 and fell in love with how fulfilling it is. She has two cats named Misty and Arthas, as well as one dog named Zora. When she's not working, Jessica likes to spend time with her husband and friends, painting, or reading.
Diana was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She is the middle of three, her oldest brother was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when he was 2 years old. At that time, being a primarily Spanish speaking family, her family faced many challenges accessing services for her brother. Seeing all the challenges that her family has faced, Diana has made it her mission to help families that may be facing challenges in getting services. In May 2021, she graduated with a Bachelor of Human Development and Family Relations from CU Denver. In her free time Diana enjoys hiking, traveling, and drinking coffee!
